To say dates: All dates are said in the following format:
El (number) de (month)

Examples:
Oct 4th = el 4 de octubre
Dec. 25th = el 25 de diciembre

One exception: The first of the month is said "el primero de (month)." Primero literally means "1st." Primero is pronounced Pree-MARE-oh
Jan 1st = el primero de enero, Feb 1st = el primero de febrero

Remember
1) to do the numbers in between, just add "y" to 30-90 and then 1-9
Example: 31 = treinta y uno, 99 = noventa y nueve (the a-y combo sounds like the English "I")
2) to do numbers 101-199, change "cien" to "ciento" and add the number
Example: 101 = ciento uno, 185 = ciento ochenta y cinco
